A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has revealed his take that the two standout players in world football at present are both plying their trade with none other than Real Madrid.
João Félix this past weekend sat down for a lengthy interview with the Nude Project podcast.
During the discussion, the Portuguese opened up on a whole host of topics, from his plans for next season, to life at Barcelona and more.
Perhaps most head-turning of all, though, were Félix’s comments regarding the world’s best performers at this moment in time.
This comes with the 24-year-old having not been shy in pointing towards the ranks of the arch rivals of both his parent and loan club, in Real Madrid.
Los Blancos, of course, are fresh off sealing a domestic and European double, in what was another historic season on the white half of Spain’s capital.
And Félix is of the opinion that one player to have played a pivotal role en route to as much, as well as another fresh off putting pen to paper on terms with Carlo Ancelotti’s side, stand clear of any other player on the planet:
“Best player in the world right now? Kylian Mbappé or Vinícius Jr.”
