An alarming statistic surrounding the performance put forth by Barcelona star Lamine Yamal this evening has come to the fore online.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, on the continent.
Late in a Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg meeting with Borussia Dortmund, the Blaugrana trail by three goals to one, albeit whilst still in possession of a two-goal advantage on aggregate.
All told, though, the performance put forth by Hansi Flick’s troops on Wednesday has been of a concerning nature.
A number of Barca’s standout stars have badly struggled, with fatigue perhaps beginning to set in at a crucial point in the campaign.
None endured a more difficult outing than the aforementioned Lamine Yamal, who was ultimately hooked by boss Flick 20 minutes from time.
And as alluded to above, the stats have since done an apt job of highlighting just how poor the usually stellar 17-year-old truly was at Signal Iduna Park.
As per Sofascore, Lamine was responsible for the following on Tuesday:
- Completed passes: 28/37
- Accurate crosses: 0/2
- Accurate long balls: 1/3
- Key passes: 0
- Shots on target: 0/1
- Successful dribbles: 3/7
- Ground duels won: 3/12
- Fouls committed vs won: 1/0
- Possession lost: 21
