A headline member of the frontline at La Liga giants Barcelona is leading his counterparts across Europe’s top-5 leagues in a number of statistical categories.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, is of course in the midst of nothing short of a superb start to the new campaign.
Across starts in Barcelona’s six fixtures across all competitions, the 17-year-old has directly contributed to eight goals.
Seven such contributions have come in five La Liga appearances, across which Lamine has wreaked havoc on opposing backlines from his berth on the right flank.
Despite his tender years, the Barca youth product is quickly making a name for himself as not only one of world football’s best youngsters, but best players full stop.
And as much, as alluded to above, is reflected aptly in the numbers.
