A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is dealing with an ongoing hamstring issue.
That’s according to Catalan outlet OnzeTv3, who point towards Ansu Fati as the player in question.
Wide-man Ansu is for his part of course fresh off his first start of the season at the weekend, when the Spaniard was thrown in from the off against Sevilla.
The 21-year-old showcased flashes of his old self across the 90 minutes but, all told, left quite a bit to be desired with his overall impact.
And as much, it has since been revealed, could well come in no small part due to Ansu being some way off full fitness.
The winger, who spent last season on loan with Brighton, was already condemned to one spell on the sidelines early in the campaign, owing to a foot injury suffered in training.
And, as per the aforementioned OnzeTv3, all the while, Ansu is dealing with something of a chronic hamstring problem:
‘There is a very serious problem with his hamstring. He does not have full extension and cannot be regular in his efforts.’
