Barcelona star in demand in Turkey ahead of January window

Barcelona star Ansu Fati has reemerged in the sights of Turkish giants Fenerbahçe with a view to the 2nd half of the season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

Wide-man Ansu has for his part of course endured a difficult campaign to date.

After linking back up with parent club Barcelona following a year out on loan with Brighton & Hove Albion, a combination of fitness woes and competition for places have kept his impact to a minimum.

So much so that the widespread understanding is that Ansu will be given the green light to depart in January, should he choose to seek out an uptick in playing time.

And, as per Sport, one club ready to take advantage in the case of as much come in the form of Fenerbahçe.

After expressing a keen interest in the services of the 21-year-old during the summer, Fener are ready to return to the table, at the express request of José Mourinho.

The Süper Lig heavyweights are expected to seek out a loan deal for the 2nd half of the campaign, ready to take on the entirety of Ansu’s salary through June.
