A trio of Premier League clubs have put proposals before a leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Ronald Araújo as the player in question.
The name of stopper Araújo has of course continued to feature front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital heading into the summer transfer window.
As much comes amid alleged interest in the signature of the Uruguayan international on the part of a number of leading European clubs.
With Barcelona’s financial woes well documented, and Araújo’s price-tag a lofty one, it has in turn been suggested that a sale could be worked out, under the right conditions.
All of a Blaugrana persuasion will therefore no doubt be interested to hear that their side’s defensive stalwart actually already has offers in front of him, by way of the Premier League.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who have revealed that:
“Araújo has three offers on the table.”
“Newcastle, Manchester United and Manchester City [are] the ones who bet the hardest.”
It now remains to be seen if any of the proposals in question are of interest to either Barcelona, or Araújo himself.
