Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has this week seen his excellence at international level rewarded, by way of a new jersey number.
This comes amid confirmation that the winger will take to the pitch in his country’s next couple of outings donning the no.10 shirt.
Spain are primed to take to the pitch on a pair of occasions over the days ahead, first against Denmark on Saturday, and then Serbia next Tuesday.
Lamine, for his part, is expected to be afforded a starting berth for both games, in his customary berth on the right flank.
The 17-year-old has long established himself as an integral member of Luis de la Fuente’s La Roja XI, with his contributions over the summer having proven key to the country’s triumph at Euro 2024.
And as a reward for both as much, and his excellent opening to the campaign with Barcelona, Lamine has been afforded the honour of taking ownership of the Spanish no.10 kit:
