Barcelona star Ansu Fati’s mission for next season confirmed

An insight into the plans of on-loan Barcelona star Ansu Fati for next season has this weekend been forthcoming online.

The subject of wide-man Ansu’s immediate future has of course found itself back in the headlines across Spain over the course of recent days.

As much comes amid suggestions that Barcelona head coach Xavi, fresh off confirming his intention to stay put for 2024/25, would welcome the 21-year-old back in his squad.

The issue, however, is that the Barca brass, in the case of an offer deemed as sufficient landing on their desk, would seemingly be ready to sell.

Ansu, as a result, is understood to have made it his personal mission to convince all at his parent club of his readiness to contribute to a winning project.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have provided an insight into the current mindset of the struggling Spanish international.

Set to return to base in Catalunya this summer on the back of an altogether disappointing loan stint in England with Brighton & Hove Albion, Sport assure that:

‘Ansu Fati is more convinced than ever that his place is at Barça and that his dream of succeeding as a Blaugrana can still be achieved.’

His season abroad is only understood to have made Ansu more appreciative of what a special environment exists at Barcelona, in turn more eager than ever before to regain his best form as part of Xavi’s squad.

He will therefore make use of pre-season back in Catalunya to prove to not only the Blaugrana’s headmaster, but all behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital, too, that the player once considered the next great La Masia talent is still alive and well:

‘Ansu Fati is sure that when Xavi Hernández checks his level in training he will end up achieving his approval. In fact, Ansu believes that the 2024-25 season could be his best campaign at Barça.’
