Barcelona star Andreas Christensen has this week admitted that he does not have a ‘Plan B’ in place, in case of departing the club next summer.
Defender Christensen, as thing stand, is due to see his terms in Catalunya’s capital expire upon the season’s close.
Though the former Chelsea man has managed to contribute more consistently over the early weeks of the new campaign than in 2024/25, he is yet to do enough to convince the Camp Nou brass to offer him a renewal.
As much means that Christensen could well be forced to seek out a new home for next season.
If the latest comments on the part of the Dane himself are anything to go by, however, then this appears to be the last thing on his mind at present.
Drawn on his Barcelona future during an exchange with the media on Wednesday, Christensen admitted:
“I hope everything works out at Barcelona, I have no plan B. I honestly don’t know yet. I’m focused on playing and helping the team. My agents will handle things when it’s time.”
