Barcelona star adamant ‘we have to win the Champions League’ after Osasuna loss

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona called for lofty targets to be reached, on the back of the club’s latest outing on Saturday.

This, of course, comes on what has proven an evening to forget for Barcelona.

Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to El Sadar for a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

Amid what has proven a hectic recent schedule, the Blaugrana coaching staff opted to heavily rotate the club’s XI, leaving the likes of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal on the bench from the off.

And as much, when all was said and done, proved hugely costly.

Owing to an altogether underwhelming display, the evening’s visitors were ultimately condemned to the wrong side of a 4-2 result in Pamplona.

One of the few Barca stars who had at least some reason to smile on the back of the full-time whistle, though, was Pau Víctor.

Frontman Víctor was afforded his first-ever La Liga start on Saturday, and responded by notching one of his side’s two goals against Osasuna.

Even the most positive of individuals, however, could hardly have predicted Víctor’s post-match rallying cry to his teammates.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at El Sadar, the 22-year-old was adamant that:

”We must win the Champions League this season.”
