Barcelona have ruled out a move for Álvaro Morata, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.
The striker, who plays for Juventus on loan from Atlético Madrid, was previously shortlisted as a possible signing by Barça manager Xavi. The Catalan coach wanted a number nine with technical ability and experience at the highest level.
Juventus have a buy option for €40 million in their deal with Atlético for the striker. The potential fee involved with Atlético has put Barcelona off the idea of moving for Morata.
