Barcelona reject big-money Raphinha offer as demands confirmed

La Liga giants Barcelona have opted to rebuff a significant offer for attacking star Raphinha.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have this evening provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Wide-man Raphinha, of course, has been hotly tipped to secure a departure from Barcelona this summer.

As much comes with the Blaugrana in desperate need of fresh funds, and the Brazilian having long been tipped as one of the club’s more expendable assets.

A number of sides from the Saudi Pro League are understood to be keeping a close eye on the situation, with a view to next season.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Monday evening is anything to go by, though, then any such clubs keen on Raphinha will be required to pay up.

As per the aforementioned Sport, the Camp Nou brass recently knocked back an offer worth €60 million for Raphinha’s signature.

The bid in question is said to have come from an unnamed club in the Premier League.

Barcelona’s response was to point towards an €80 million starting point for talks over their key attacker’s sale.
