Barcelona register Pablo Torre for the Champions League

Barcelona have chosen to include Pablo Torre in their Champions League squad, report Marca.

The 19-year-old Cantabrian was signed from Racing Santander for a fee of €5m earlier in 2022. Torre’s contract with Barça is valid until June 2026 and he has a €100m buy-out clause. He was initially signed for the B team, however, he has really impressed Xavi and was rewarded with a call-up to the senior side’s Champions League squad.

The Blaugrana have also registered new signings Héctor Bellerín and Marcos Alonso, who will wear shirt numbers 2 and 17 respectively.

On the other hand, Gavi and Alejandro Balde are on the B list as they do not have to be registered as part of the first team due to their home-grown status.

Barcelona will start their Champions League campaign at the Nou Camp against Viktoria Plzeň on Wednesday night with kick-off scheduled at 21.00 local time.
