Spanish football’s two leading clubs have positioned themselves firmly in the race to land Manchester United sensation JJ Gabriel. That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.
Youngster Gabriel has for his part taken his place centre stage in the media headlines in not only England, but across all of Europe over the course of the day to date.
This comes amid the widespread understanding that the attacker has made the definitive call to depart Manchester United. Having already ceased training with the Red Devils, the England youth international has requested a contract termination on the part of the the Old Trafford brass.
At just 15 years of age, Gabriel has long been considered the standout up-and-coming talent on the red half of Manchester, viewed as a future first-team star in the making.
Word of his call to move on has in turn sparked widespread interest across the continent. And as alluded to above, this interest extends to the respective boardrooms at both Real Madrid and Barcelona.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his official YouTube channel on Tuesday:
”Real Madrid are a club we have to take into consideration. Barcelona are a club we have to take into consideration. These two clubs are looking at the situation of JJ Gabriel; I can guarantee that.”
