Barcelona ready to ‘listen to offers’ for yet another player

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to open the door to a potential departure for up-and-coming defender Héctor Fort before the summer is out.

This comes amid mounting speculation surrounding an impending clearout from Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad.

The last 24 hours have seen Ronald Araújo reach an agreement to join Liverpool, and Ferran Torres give his word to Paris Saint-Germain regarding a long-term contract.

Then, youngsters Marc Casadó and Roony Bardghji were left out of Barca’s travelling squad for a pre-season mini-tournament, confirming their respective availability on the market.

And as alluded to above, amid ongoing efforts to raise funds, Deco and his team of directors are not satisfied there, either. As per a report from market insider Matteo Moretto:

‘Barça will listen to offers for Héctor Fort.’

Youngster Fort, capable of taking to the pitch at either right or left-back, spent last season plying his trade with Elche, on a year-long loan from Barcelona.
