As per a report from Sport, Raphinha’s future at Barcelona remains up in the air.
The powers that be at the club remain unconvinced by the performances put forth by the former Leeds United man over the early months of the campaign.
Barcelona have long concluded that the contributions from Xavi’s wide players must be of the highest standard, with Raphinha’s haul of just two goals in 11 appearances not up to scratch.
With interest in his services remaining widespread, and the 26-year-old still likely to command a considerable sum on the transfer market, a sale in the summer of 2024 can therefore not be ruled out.
Xavi and Co. will assess Raphinha’s form and efforts closely over the coming weeks and months, before making a definitive decision on their plans towards the season’s close.
