Barça have reached an agreement with Valencia to sign Carlos Soler for €20 million, according to AS.
The report states that Barça also have a deal in place with Soler, whose contract expires in 2023. The departure of Frenkie de Jong from the Camp Nou outfit will be key to Soler moving.
Despite receiving praise from manager Xavi, the Catalan club have decided in recent weeks to put De Jong up for sale. Barça’s aim is to obtain a transfer fee of around €70 million. Frenkie de Jong is mainly wanted by Manchester United and Bayern Munich, although there are other Premier League teams who have also looked at his situation.
Soler, 25, has a contract at Mestalla until 2023.
