Barcelona reach agreement with Leeds United for Raphinha

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign Raphinha, according to Marca.

The Premier League club have accepted the formal offer presented by Barça on Tuesday morning. The agreement is between €55 million fixed and a series of variables, amounts that have not been confirmed by either club.

In the last few days, both clubs were discussing a fee ranging from €50-55 million fixed and €15-20 million in variables, a total of €70 million.

After more talks, the fixed price was higher and the variables were lower. Leeds, who wanted guarantees of payment from the Catalan side, will be paid this amount over a period of one year, according to several sources.

Raphinha will become the club’s third signing of the summer after Franck Kessié and Andreas Christensen. He will move to Camp Nou on a five-year deal.
