Barcelona question discipline of Umtiti and Dembélé

Barcelona pair Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembélé have been questioned over their lack of discipline at the club this week, according to Barcelona-based journalist Moises Llorens of ESPN.

Umtiti arrived 30 minutes late to training on Friday morning – Barca’s first training session since the COVID-19 outbreak – and pulled up with calf injury which has ruled him out for three weeks on Saturday. It has been reported that the club’s coaches were surprised at how the defender returned to training, somewhat off the pace of his teammates.

French winger Dembélé failed to show up for an organised MRI scan for his current hamstring injury on Tuesday. The 22-year-old is currently ruled out of action for six months.

The future of both players at Camp Nou remains up in the air.
