Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday been confirmed as fully cleared for the club’s upcoming meeting with Leganés.
The pair in question? Ronald Araújo, and Ansu Fati.
Both defender Araújo and attacker Ansu have of course spent recent weeks on the sidelines.
The former, in fact, is yet to take to the pitch in a competitive setting this season, owing to a serious hamstring injury suffered during the smmer.
Araújo was afforded a place in Barcelona’s matchday squad to face Borussia Dortmund during the week, but had not yet actually been given the medical green light to take to the pitch.
This weekend, though, as much has at last arrived.
As confirmed by Diario Sport, both the Uruguayan and teammate Ansu – fresh off a muscular injury of his own – can now be considered as ‘fully recovered’.
The pair, as a result, are considered as ready to play their part against Leganés on Sunday evening.
