The price-tag laid out by La Liga giants Barcelona to part with midfield star Frenkie de Jong has on Friday been revealed.
The name of Dutch international De Jong has of course proven itself a prominent one in Catalunya’s capital across much of the summer to date.
As much comes as the 27-year-old continues to be linked with a move away from Barcelona.
Amid their ongoing search for funds on the market, De Jong has been tipped as one potential sacrifice, with the midfielder’s ongoing injury problems making an exit all the more likely.
And, as alluded to above, on Friday, an insight into the kind of sum set to be required to coax the Camp Nou brass into a sale has been provided.
The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who, during an appearance on Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing, confirmed that Barca are indeed open to moving De Jong on, for the right price.
The price in question? Around €60 million, plus bonuses.
