According to journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona are close to landing Chelsea defender César Azpilicueta in the summer.
The Spain international’s contract with the English club expires on 30 June 2022, and all indications are that he will not renew and will arrive at Camp Nou as a free agent in July 2022.
Romero said on Jijantes FC that “Azpilicueta is very close to Barça. The club has an agreement in principle with the defender to join from June. Only some personal issues can change the course of the operation”.
