Barcelona & Man United ‘following’ Geovany Quenda

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Thursday been credited with an interest in the signature of Sporting CP sensation Geovany Quenda.

Quenda, for those not familiar with his name, is a young winger, who has spent the season to date establishing himself as one of the standout up-and-coming talents in Portugal.

The starlet generally operates on the right flank, but is also capable of filling in on the left when required.

Still just 17 years of age, Quenda has racked up 39 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with two goals and seven assists along the way.

And such stellar exploitsat such a young age have begun to pique attentions of leading clubs across the continent.

As per a report from European transfer insider Ekrem Konur:

‘Manchester United and Barcelona have been following Geovany Quenda for months and appreciate his talent.’

Talks, in turn, have already been kicked into gear between Quenda’s representatives and both clubs, over the terms of a potential deal.
