Hansi Flick’s Barcelona have on Friday been labelled the very best team in La Liga, by an upcoming opponent.
Barca, of course, are in the midst of what has proven a stellar opening to the new term in Spain, sitting pretty atop the La Liga table.
As much comes owing to a perfect record of seven wins from seven, across which the Blaugrana have racked up 23 goals, whilst allowing just five at the other end.
Next up for the Catalans comes a meeting with Osasuna, at El Sadar on Saturday night.
And, in the buildup to the clash, Osasuna head coach Vicente Moreno has made use of the opportunity to reveal his admiration for counterpart Flick’s men.
Speaking in a press conference on Friday afternoon, Moreno explained:
”It will be a very tough game at home against the best team in La Liga.”
The Spanish tactician continued:
”It’s a nice game and it excites our fans. It’s a time slot that we hadn’t touched and I know that historically the fans like it. We’re going to enjoy a night of football, enjoy competing.”
