Barcelona keeping a close eye on Bryan Zaragoza’s situation at Bayern Munich

The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are closely watching developments surrounding Bryan Zaragoza, at German champions Bayern Munich.

As much comes amid the Spaniard’s ongoing struggles to adapt in Munich.

Wide-man Zaragoza, for his part, secured a move to the Allianz Arena during the January transfer window, when the Bayern brass agreed to fork over an increased sum, to move his planned arrival forward by six months.

Safe to say, however, that the transfer has since not worked out as planned, for either party.

To date, the 22-year-old has been afforded just two Bundesliga appearances, for a grand total of 43 minutes.

And, as alluded to above, keeping a close eye on the situation with a view to next season are the transfer team at Barcelona.

The Blaugrana are long-time appreciators of Zaragoza’s talents, even understood to have expressed an interest in his signature whilst the Spaniard was still on the books of Granada earlier this season.

And, as per a report from Diario Sport, should Zaragoza’s situation in Germany not improve over the weeks and months ahead, Deco and his team of directors are ready to pounce:

‘If the new coach does not see him favourably for Bayern either, the player could leave on loan and Barça believes it is a market opportunity.’
