La Liga giants Barcelona are expressing a keen interest in the signing of RCD Mallorca talent Alex Woiski.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Woiski, for his part, is an 18-year-old attacker, who is currently plying his trade on the books of the aforementioned Mallorca.
The starlet has long turned heads with his production in front of goal, having allegedly racked up just shy of 500 goals in Mallorca’s youth setup.
Woiski was recently afforded a call-up by Argentina for the South American U20 Championships, set to be kicked into gear later this week.
And, as per Sport, keeping a close eye on the efforts of the frontman at the tournament will be the scouting department at Barcelona.
In the knowledge that Woiski’s contract terms with Mallorca are due to expire in the summer, the Blaugrana are giving serious consideration to an approach for his signature.
