Barcelona injury latest for Celta Vigo: 1 in, 1 out, 2 doubts

An update on the injury situation in the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Thursday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards altogether mixed news as stemming from The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Beginning with the positives, Robert Lewandowski, who picked up a back problem en route to Barcelona’s defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad, is back in full training.

The Pole will, in turn, be given the green light to feature from the off in the Blaugrana’s post-international break return to action against Celta Vigo this weekend.

Turning attentions towards those set to miss out, and Lamine Yamal has been ruled out at Balaídos, having failed to recover from an ankle sprain.

The 17-year-old is yet to rejoin group training with the rest of his teammates, and could even miss next week’s Champions League meeting with Brest, too.

Finally, the status of two further members of Hansi Flick’s squad to feature at Balaídos is considered as up in the air.

This comes with the pair, namely Ferran Torres and Eric García, still playing only a partial role in group activities in Catalunya’s capital, following respective thigh and pubalgia concerns.
