The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are quickly advancing in negotiations to bring in a soon-to-be free agent defender.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Jonathan Tah as the player in question.
The name of stopper Tah has of course long proven a prominent one in the headlines in Barcelona.
This comes after the Blaugrana saw a late-window approach for the German international rebuffed by their counterparts at the aforementioned Bayer Leverkusen over the summer.
Ahead of the expiration of his terms at the BayArena in 2025, though, Deco and co. are continuing to keep a close eye on Tah’s situation.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then Barca now appear to be closing on an agreement.
As per a report from El Chiringuito TV’s Jose Alvarez Haya:
‘Barca are very advanced for the signing of Tah’, ahead of Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich.
