La Liga giants Barcelona are locked in negotiations with player agent Fali Ramadani over not one, but two potential signings.
That’s according to a mounting number of sources across the media, who point towards the first player as coming in the form of Federico Chiesa.
Amid their ongoing search for a new left winger, the Barcelona brass are understood to have set their sights firmly on Italian international Chiesa, who finds himself out of the plans of new Juventus head coach Thiago Motta.
Talks, in turn, have been kickstarted with the player and his entourage, over the terms of a contract.
And yet, the discussions between Blaugrana sporting director Deco and agent Ramadani have not ended there…
Amid the understanding that Hansi Flick is seeking out reinforcements on the right of his backline, Barca are also exploring the possibility of bringing in Marc Pubill from Almería.
Pubill, who was widely expected to join Atalanta earlier in the summer, is fresh off a stellar campaign at the Olympic Games with Spain.
And such exploits, it would appear, have only served in reiterating to those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou that the 21-year-old would mark a shrewd addition.
In turn, as per transfer market insider Nicolò Schira:
‘Not only Federico Chiesa: the agent Fali Ramadani is also talking with Barça for the right fullback Marc Pubill, who is ready to leave Almeria in the next days.’
