The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona have turned their attentions towards a new profile, in their ongoing seatch for reinforcements in the attacking third.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Kingsley Coman as the player in question.
Faced with the increasing likelihood that priority summer transfer target Nico Williams will not be leaving Athletic Club, Deco and the Camp Nou brass have been forced to seek out alternative arrangements.
A number of wingers, in turn, are understood to have been earmarked as potential targets.
One, though, stands out above all others at present.
As per a report from Diario Sport:
‘The Blaugrana club has started to manage alternatives to be prepared if Nico does not arrive and the best placed is Kingsley Coman.’
France international Coman has been deemed surplus to requirements by current club Bayern Munich.
He is therefore available for loan, with the option to buy in the summer of 2025.
Boasting the approval of Hansi Flick owing to their shared time together in Munich, Coman is therefore beginning to look like an increasingly attractive option on the part of those behind the scenes at Barcelona.
