Barcelona have no plans to sell Ousmane Dembélé this January to PSG

Barcelona are not planning to sell Ousmane Dembélé in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp these past couple of weeks and reportedly PSG are keen on making a move for the France international.

However, in an interview that appeared on Marca, Barcelona president Joan Laporta dismissed any rumours that the Catalan outfit are looking to sell Dembélé:

“If PSG or another club came to sign him we would tell them that he is not for sale. Right now he is one of the most important players we have with extraordinary speed. He is a lightning bolt. Every time he gets the ball he bursts forward and against Intercity he scored a great goal. He won’t leave for 70 million or any other amount.”

Dembélé also expressed that he is happy at Barcelona:

“I’m fine here and I will continue working to be fine at Barça. The coach and the board are confident regarding my ability.”

Dembélé’s contract with Barcelona is valid until June 2024 and his buyout clause this season is €100m.
