La Liga giants Barcelona have this week been credited with an interest in the signature of Olympique Marseille star Mason Greenwood.
That’s according to European transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
It is of course common knowledge that the Barcelona brass are on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third with a view to next season.
As much comes with Hansi Flick currently heavily dependent on first-choice trio Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski.
A whole host of names have in turn been tipped as potential additions to the Blaugrana’s squad.
And as alluded to above, on Thursday, a new profile has been added to this list.
As per a report from Ekrem Konur:
‘Barcelona and Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Mason Greenwood.’
Both clubs, it is claimed, had scouts in attendance at Marseille’s recent meeting with Saint-Etienne, a game in which Greenwood notched one of OM’s five goals.
