Barcelona have received a big-money offer for winger Raphinha by way of the Premier League.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have today provided an insight into developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
It is of course common knowledge that the powers that be at Barcelona are taking into consideration Raphinha’s sale, with a view to the summer.
This comes owing to both the club’s desperate need for fresh funds, and the emergence of Lamine Yamal in Xavi’s squad.
In turn, though the Brazilian himself is keen to stay put, Barca are viewed as willing to discuss Raphinha’s exit, should a proposal deemed as sufficient be forthcoming for his signature.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, precisely that may in fact already have arrived.
As per the aforementioned Sport, Deco and the transfer team in Catalunya have ‘an offer worth €70 million on the table’ for Raphinha.
The bid in question is said to have come by way of Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Not only that, but another of English football’s giants, namely Liverpool, are said to be keen on the former Leeds United standout, too.
This comes amid efforts to source a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who could be bound for Saudi Arabia this summer owing to the departure of Jürgen Klopp.
Whatever the case, Barcelona could soon find themselves in for a handsome pay day.
