La Liga giants Barcelona have put a deal in place for Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah.
That’s according to Italian transfer insider Tancredi Palmeri, who has this weekend provided an update on the future of in-demand defender Tah.
The 28-year-old, it is claimed, had made his way firmly onto the wishlists of two of Serie A’s leading clubs, in the form of Juventus, and Inter Milan, with a view to next season.
This comes ahead of the expiration of Tah’s contract with long-time club Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025.
Palmeri’s understanding, however, is that both Juve and Inter are in line to miss out on the German international.
This comes amid confirmation that:
‘Jonathan Tah, the German defender of Bayer Leverkusen whose contract is expiring, has reached an agreement with Barcelona.’
The 28-year-old has of course been hotly tipped to link up with Hansi Flick’s Barca over recent weeks, with it now looking as though the Blaugrana’s efforts to secure their first signing of 2025 have proven successful.
