The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have already come to what is essentially a definitive decision on Vitor Roque’s future with the club.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have confirmed that the Brazilian, as things stand, has no future in Catalunya’s capital.
Frontman Roque of course brought a close to his short-lived stint in Barcelona colours over the summer.
After a tumultuous six-month spell featuring widespread criticism and confusion alike, the youngster was granted a loan exit, linking up with Real Betis for the duration of the campaign.
Roque has since endured something of a hit-and-miss time of things in Seville, to the tune of five goals and an assist in 19 appearances across all competitions.
Whether such production picks up, or falters further, however, appears to be irrelevant when it comes to the attacker’s prospects back at Barcelona.
As per a report from Sport:
‘It is clear that Vitor Roque will not return’ at any point.
The aim of the Camp Nou hierarchy, in turn, will simply be to secure the highest possible return for Roque down the line.
