Last night Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League and were defeated 3-0 by Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp in the process.
The Blaugrana were second best in many aspects during the game and were no match to their German opposition. Indeed, as noted by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona failed to have a single attempt on target against Bayern Munich.
Barça finished the match with nine shots, two of which were deflected and the other seven were blocked by Bayern Munich players. Ansu Fati, who had three shots, was the one who had the most attempts in the short period of time he was on the pitch, while Robert Lewandowski shot twice without luck. Alejandro Balde, Sergio Busquets, Raphinha and Ferran Torres also failed to hit the target.
In his post-match interview, Xavi pointed out that Barcelona were in effective in front of goal.
Barcelona will continue their European campaign in the Europa League.
