Barcelona consider Saudi transfer exchange

La Liga giants Barcelona have been tipped to partake in what would come as a surprising exchange deal with Saudi outfit Al-Hilal.

The deal in question would be centered around Marc Casadó, and João Cancelo.

Defender Cancelo of course spent the 2nd half of this past season plying his trade on loan at Barcelona, with the Portuguese’s impressive exploits having convinced Deco and co. to work towards making his arrival permanent.

Negotiations have in turn been ongoing between the Blaugrana and their Al-Hilal counterparts for several weeks now.

And as alluded to above, over recent days, an idea was floated which could yet see Cancelo’s way back to Spain paved by another member of Hansi Flick’s squad.

As per a report from Diario Sport, Marc Casadó has been floated as a potential makeweight in talks between the parties, an inclusion which would see Barca secure Cancelo, as well as a cash sum.

Not only that, but it is added:

‘Casadó would look favourably on being part of a hypothetical operation between Barça and Al-Hilal.’
