Barcelona chief Deco flies to Portugal for transfer talks: Which players will be discussed?

Barcelona sporting director Deco was on Thursday spotted departing Catalunya’s capital, for his home country of Portugal.

This comes with a view to dealing with pressing transfer business at the Camp Nou.

As revealed by Jijantes, who also unveil footage of the Barcelona chief at the airport:

‘Deco is flying right now towards Porto. Many pending tasks for Barça’s sporting director.’

Front and centre on the agenda in discussions between the Blaugrana and Porto, of course, will be the name of defender Mikayil Faye.

The youngster is known to be a chief summer target on the part of the Primeira Liga giants, who consider Faye a potential star in the making.

Beyond as much, though, which other players will feature in talks between the clubs?

Though confirmation is yet to surface, it is likely that Barcelona’s plans for Vitor Roque will also feature prominently, with Porto continuing to make themselves available for a potential loan.

Turning attentions towards movement in the opposite direction, Deco and his team have been named as keen admirers of Pepê, amid the Catalans’ ongoing search for reinforcements out wide.
