Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has this evening provided an update on the wellbeing of attacking midfielder Dani Olmo.
This comes, for those who missed it, after the 26-year-old was forced into an early departure from Barca’s latest outing.
The Blaugrana marked their return to action a short time ago, making the short trip across Catalunya for a La Liga meeting with neighbours Girona.
When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops kept alive their stellar opening to the campaign, emerging on the right side of a 4-1 result to make it a perfect five wins from five.
On an otherwise positive evening’s work for Barcelona, however, one source of concern was also forthcoming, on the personnel front.
This came just beyond the hour mark, upon Dani Olmo going to ground, before departing proceedings altogether gingerly.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle at the Estadi Montilivi, it therefore came as little surprise when the name of his side’s summer signing was put to boss Hansi Flick.
And the German tactician went on to explain:
“Dani Olmo? We will wait until tomorrow. It seems that there is something but we will have to wait until tomorrow.”
