Barcelona board in ‘advanced negotiations’ with new investor

La Liga giants Barcelona are in advanced discussions with a new investor, to contribute towards the club’s Barca Vision project.

That’s according to RAC1, who have on Wednesday provided a fresh insight into developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona have long been actively working towards securing fresh investment, in a bid to alleviate the club’s financial woes.

After Libero’s non-payment of an owed €40 million was covered by Aramark, it appeared as though a Ukrainian cryptocurrency firm were set to join forces with the latter, to fund Barca Vision under Bridgeburg Invest.

In the end, this too failed to come to fruition, but, if the latest word stemming from the media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then a new unnamed partner now looks ready to step in.

As per a report from RAC1:

‘Barça are aiming to revalue Bridgeburg this season: it can grow beyond 408M. The club is in advanced negotiations with a partner that will join Aramark.’
