The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are on alert, after their counterparts at Manchester United made their demands for Marcus Rashford known.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course proven a prominent one in the Spanish media headlines over recent days.
This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid an incoming push on the part of the aforementioned Man United to move the Englishman on, Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation.
The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements out wide with a view to next season, with Rashford, despite his long-time hit-and-miss form, held in high regard in Catalunya’s capital.
Deco and co. will, in turn, no doubt have had their attentions piqued on Friday.
This comes amid confirmation that Manchester United have unveiled their demands for Rashford – an altogether reasonable sum of around €48 million.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who also note, though, that whilst Barcelona are indeed ‘attentive’ to the situation, they do not consider Rashford’s signing a ‘priority’ at this moment in time.
