Barcelona and Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement over the fee of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to Toni Juanmartí and Albert Rogé at Relevo, Chelsea will pay in the region of €22 million plus €5 million in variables to secure the services of the Gabonese international from the Blaugrana.
The two clubs are expected to finalise negotiations either today or tomorrow. Aubameyang has already agreed personal terms with The Blues.
Earlier it was believed that the transfer would not materialise as neither the 33-year-old nor Xavi was keen on the transfer.
However, it appears as though talks between Juventus and Memphis Depay have broken down and the Italian side have shifted their attention to signing Arkadiusz Milik.
Barcelona still need to offload players in order to free up the budget to register new signing Jules Koundé. The sale of Aubameyang will allow Barça to be in the financial position to meet La Liga regulations.
