Barcelona and Bayern Munich to meet for Robert Lewandowski talks

Over the coming days, Barcelona will meet with Bayern Munich to discuss Robert Lewandowski and the player’s price, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Barça’s objective is to sign the Polish striker for around €30 million, taking into account that his contract with the German club ends in 2023.

The club could also use Memphis Depay as part of an exchange to make the operation cheaper.

Lewandowski turns 34 on 21 August, but Barcelona are aware of his professionalism and his obsession with diet, and are convinced that he can perform at the highest level over the next three years.

Since entering his 30s, Lewandowski has managed to average more than a goal per game. In the 2019-20 season, he scored 55 goals in 47 games; in 2020-21, he scored 48 goals in 40 games, and in the season that has just ended he scored 50 goals in 46 games.
