Barcelona already ‘considering’ one player’s January sale

The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are already giving consideration to the potential sale of one member of the club’s attacking ranks, upon the January transfer window swinging open.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ansu Fati as the odd man out in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, as a collective, have of course enjoyed a stellar opening to the new campaign, racking up eight wins from ten across all competitions.

Wide-man Ansu, however, has struggled in his efforts to contribute.

After coming into the season nursing an injury, the 21-year-old has since been afforded a grand total of 30 minutes of playing time.

The hope was that, once back fully fit and firing, Ansu would go on to rediscover his previous brilliance, in a similar vein to fellow Blaugrana star Raphinha.

To date, however, as much has not come to fruition.

And, as a result, the Camp Nou brass are already weighing up the possibility of a fresh exit for the Spanish international.

As per a report from the aforementioned Sport:

‘At Barça they believe that the best solution would be to find a team for him so that he gets minutes and can get into rhythm from January, but he will only leave if the club enters the 1-1 rule.’
