La Liga giants Barcelona have wrapped up agreements over the contract renewals of two leading members of the club’s first-team squad.
That’s according to Marca’s Luis Rojo, who points towards Ronald Araújo and Pedri as the pair in question.
Both defender Araújo and midfielder Pedri of course played their respective parts on Tuesday night, as Barcelona turned things around to secure the most remarkable of comeback victories at Benfica in the Champions League.
And, less than 24 hours on, the positive news, for the players and the Blaugrana’s supporters alike, has continued to flow.
As per a report from the aforementioned Luis Rojo:
‘Barcelona have reached agreements for the contract renewals of Araújo and Pedri until 2030.’
Only the signatures of the parties are missing for both deals to be made official, with an announcement on the part of Barcelona expected to arrive ‘in the next few days’.
