The powers that be at La Liga gians Barcelona have added a new name to their shortlist of attacking targets for next season.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Donyell Malen as the player question.
Borussia Dortmund frontman Malen is understood to be on the lookout for a new challenge with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
The Dutchman’s priority is to secure a move to one of Spain or England, with the aforementioned Barcelona having emerged as a potential landing spot.
The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third, with Malen considered an attractive option.
This comes owing to all of the 25-year-old’s versatility – he can play in multiple roles in the final third – contract status – due to expire in the summer of 2026 – and willingness to fight for his place.
An offer by way of the Camp Nou for Malen’s signature, in turn, could well be forthcoming next summer.
