Atlético Madrid have confirmed the passing on Saturday of promising U14 player Christian Minchola. The young striker played for the club since the age of seven.
Club captain Koke expressed his sadness at the death of the young player on social media. “Anger and pain at having to say goodbye to Christian Minchola. Life is very unfair. I’m proud that you wore this shirt. Much encouragement to colleagues, family and friends. Rest in peace.”
