La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have turned heads across the Spanish football landscape and beyond on Friday evening.
This comes after the Rojiblancos made crystal clear that they have become entirely fed up with the media speculation surrounding the transfer market.
Across the day to date, Atlético have seen star frontman Julián Alvarez again linked with a move to Barcelona, amid claims of a €100 million offer being tabled for the Argentine.
Not only that, but the capital outfit have been credited with a serious interest in departing Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.
And such reports have evidently not gone down at all well with those behind the scenes at the Metropolitano…
As much was made evident courtesy of a post across Atléti’s social media platforms this evening, in which journalist Fabrizio Romano’s famed ‘Here We Go’ catchphrase was used to highlight the details of a fake transfer offer for Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal:
‘HERE WE GO! We have sent a fax to Barcelona with our transfer offer: 4 tickets for tomorrow’s Bad Bunny concert, an annual subscription to ABC, and a bag of sunflower seeds. We eagerly await the response to prepare the ‘announcement’.’
This post has since been swiftly followed by another, outlining:
‘And remember, it took us just five minutes to create this fake post.’
