Two key members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are all set to extend their terms with the club.
That’s according to the reliable Matteo Moretto of Relevo, who points towards Giuliano Simeone and Pablo Barrios as the players in question.
Both winger Simeone and midfielder Barrios have of course played prominent roles for Atlético across the season to date.
The former has racked up 27 appearances across all competitions, with Barrios not far behind on 21.
And, across these outings, the pair have continued to prove themselves two of the brightest up-and-coming talents in boss Diego Simeone’s squad.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of both Barrios and Simeone being in line for contract renewals.
As per a report from the aforementioned Matteo Moretto:
‘Two youngsters who will extend their contracts with the club in the coming months or even weeks: Pablo Barrios and Giuliano Simeone.’
