Atlético Madrid are interested in signing Pablo Sarabia from PSG, report Estadio Deportivo.
Following their elimination from all European competitions in the autumn, Los Colchoneros are in the process of restructuring their squad for the current season and beyond. In December it was communicated that the club would have been keen to bring Borja Iglesias to the Estadio Metropolitano, but they are not willing to meet Real Betis’ €40m asking price.
It is believed that Atlético Madrid have set their eyes on Pablo Sarabia. The 30-year-old, who’s contract is valid with the Parisians until June 2024, has indicated that he would be keen to leave the French capital this January as he feels as though he is being overshadowed by Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
The Spaniard joined PSG from Sevilla in 2019 for a fee of €18m and he could go back to La Liga for a similar price or even less.
